We are not a Democracy!   Leave a comment

Was sitting here this morning reading different posts and noticed how some are declaring they want America to return to democracy. Well an interesting way to look at it is this. America was never a true democracy. It is and was a republic (remember the pledge we used to say back in the day at the start of school?) and there are some subtle and not so subtle differences between them. Both forms of government do tend to be representational. But a republic is formed with a constitution and bill of basic human rights which the government cannot infringe upon. Where as in a democracy the majority cannot be restrained and can do as it wills without regard to the will of the minority. So perhaps it would be wise to be careful what you ask for when speaking out with demands.
Some of the implications of the U.S. Being a republic is state sponsored or funded programs make segregation unconstitutional. Also by the fact that cases such as same sex marriage are going before the supreme court to decide that which is constitutional demonstrates that the U.S. Constitution and rule of law can and do outweigh the will of the majority. So in fact that makes America a republic and not a democracy. I guess to be more precise a federal constitutional republic although there are those who would say it is more of an Oligarchy run by capitalist people in power like the 2% wealthiest which the federal reserve and of the industrial complexes.
Thomas Jefferson said “A private central bank issuing the public currency is a greater menace to the liberties of the people than a standing army.” We must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.” I guess that would be a negative vote on the federal reserve right.
In a letter to then secretary of the treasury he writes “I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs.” And then in 1820 he responds to the idea of a supreme court, “You seem … to consider the judges as the ultimate arbiters of all constitutional questions; a very dangerous doctrine indeed, and one which would place us under the despotism of an oligarchy… The Constitution has erected no such single tribunal.”
Alexander Hamilton wrote in the Federalist Papers on the judiciary “And it proves, in the last place, that liberty can have nothing to fear from the judiciary alone, but would have everything to fear from its union with either of the other departments.” Just thought I would throw some of these quotes out there to get people to think about the things going on in our government today and perhaps be a warning.

The Drugging of our Children.   Leave a comment

The drugging of our children has become the norm in society. Well meaning teachers and parents and children have become the victims of this propaganda being spoon fed to us by psychiatry. There are millions of kids here in the U.S. Taking medication for “ADHD” which are class 2 schedule drugs with side effects that cause sudden death in patients with heart problems or deformities, seizures, loss of eyesight, hearing voices, Violent tendencies and a whole laundry list of other side effects of which one more biggie is suicide. All that is just a side effect of Ritalin. Now another big one is Adderall which contains amphetamine(Speed), and dextroamphitamine . This is used to control hyperactivity and impulsiveness in patients and the side effects include psychotic symptoms like again hearing voices and believing things that are not true. Increase in blood pressure and heart rate and seizures and change in eyesight and once again these are just some of the side effects.
Also what seems to be a more common occurrence is when a side effect of the drug appears they will just feed them another drug for that. At this point I must apologize as I am not a rocket scientist but it appears to me to be a problem. After all diagnosis in these kids is subjective and anything but an exact science. Psychiatry today has began to list even normal emotions and mental states of mind as a “disorder”. They are defined under the “Diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders” or DSM. The book was created by the american psychiatric association. They put these diseases in this book without any scientific or clinical trials whatsoever. Changes to this manual are done by vote of its members and is not one bit science.
It is well documented that anti psychotics are being misused and prescribed. Children as young as 18 months are being given these drugs to treat diseases that rarely manifest before adolescence. They are giving toddlers these drugs because of the sedative effect and to control disruptive behavior and not to treat mental illness at all. It was recently that it came out that the Harvard psychiatrists who created the pediatric bipolar diagnosis were disciplined for conflict of interest when it was revealed they had received millions in undeclared pharmaceutical company money. Then there is the trend of parents being taken to court and in some instances put in prison for refusing to drug their children.
I think as parents we need to stop letting these companies from profiting at the cost of the health and well being of our kids. If your children are showing behavior problems consider other possibilities like diet. High fructose corn syrup is a huge contributor and linked to depression and schizophrenia. Try to reduce the chemicals in their diet and encourage more natural foods. We did not have most of these chemicals in our food when I was a child and we were not being fed these drugs for that matter. Geez now we even have to worry about these genetically modified foods in our diet.
So I think the moral of the story is this. Stop expecting our kids to be little “Normal” robots and let them grow up drug free and teach them right from wrong and how to be a healthy contributing member of our society. Maybe and I say just maybe these mass shootings will become a thing of the past. Maybe even get them off the video game and go outside and play on a nice day.

Just some randomness from left field.   Leave a comment

Just sitting here wondering where I want to be a year from now. I mean this in the sense of my blogging and how as can use it as a tool to help myself as well as others. I know for myself it is anything but being about fame, Money or any of those trappings. More about being content and just comfortable in life (But not to much) and have the day to day needs and some left to help others who might be in need of a hand up. As a habit I try to think a bit less of myself and more about those around me. I guess this can be a tough thing in a world where most have an its all about me mentality. Just can not seem to bring myself into that frame of mind. Just was not raised like that. I also intend to put together an ebook at some point this year. Probably a collection or some mash up of my postings on here.

I have no idea at this point who or how many are actually reading these I just see that there are views on them. Kind of hope at least to start getting some feedback and comments. It seems a little weird for me to do a post on the blog like this but I feel the need to put this up here so I can look back in say a year and see what has come to pass. I can only hope my writing improves with age and I do not alienate every human being out there who reads this. Believe me I know I tend to come off strong on some things (No Apologies sorry) but a lot of people out there need to probably hear it in that way. But let it be noted that if I am proven to be wrong I can take that and so be it. Would also like to hear some ideas some of you might have on future topics. I am game for just about anything short of intentionally hurting someone.

In the mean time I will try to keep new ideas coming and inspire some of you to step up and say something about the things you see going on that are wrong and of course the ones that are right are even better. It is my primary goal here to get people to really think about how they perceive things around them and just for a minute look at things through different eyes. It is painfully obvious that there is a lot of really bad stuff going on around us at any one time but we do not have to just see this. Spend a bit of time focusing on the good as well. Okay that is about all the time I want to spend on this brain fart of a post. If any of you are interested you can follow me on facebook or twitter.

The Ultimate Hypocrisies And Lies In The World.   Leave a comment

It seems to me with everyone up in arms about the use of chemical weapons in Syria another important aspect of the issue was never really discussed. Where did the Syrian government obtain them? Syria’s chemical weapons were probably supplied directly or in-directly by North Korea, Russia,India,China,Iran and and by many intel reports Iraq (pre-war) from Saddam Hussein. Clearly some of the a fore mentioned are under some sort of sanctions but many are not. It becomes apparent that it is not true that old saying “What is good for the goose is good for the gander.”

Then there is our double standard for nuclear proliferation. We pound North Korea and Iran with sanctions over it but why do we let a country like Pakistan slide? Pakistan is ruled by a military who at any moment could launch a war with India which would probably end civilization as we know it. It is common knowledge that they have been and currently are a safe haven for terrorist. After all where did we find Bin Laden living quite comfortably? I think what it really boils down to is the lack of political stomach to confront this obvious case of hypocrisy.

Now lets talk human rights abuses. We are really quick to point the finger at Iran or China when they enact some horrible law but when we do exactly the same sort of thing under homeland security it is just fine. Or how about the British are consolidating ties with Uzbekistan which tortures it citizens and enslaves them to pick cotton but of course how could the U.S. chastise others for what it itself has done? After all we are a society here who shops at big box stores for the best prices on the backs of cheap labor from more times than not third world labor. Wake up Sheeple you are directly supporting that which you so vehemently speak out against.

The NSA spying on us and everyone is up in arms. More than a handful of the current Democrats who support this policy currently were decrying it when Bush was in the whitehouse and now that Obama is in the Republicans are doing the exact same thing and now the Republicans simply turn coat and employ the same tactic. It all comes down to scoring political points with their base and nothing more. This has absolutely not one thing to do with your rights or freedom. It is all about keeping the citizens in check and the real powers that be in control. They are simply and masterfully employing an old military strategy which is “Divide and Conquer”if the people are divided and at each others throats they can not rise together against the true masters. That is why they become so enraged when a whistle blower comes out like “Snowden” and tells the people what is going on behind secret door #2 under the guise of protecting you from terrorists.

Now since the subject of “Snowden” came up lets talk about extradition. The United States is upset that Russia would not extradite Snowden but it is alright for the U.S. to hold individuals like Sanchez De Lozada the intensely pro-US president of Bolivia. This gift to humanity sent security forces to suppress a popular uprising against energy and globalization policies.  Using high-powered rifles and machine guns, his military forces killed 67 men, women and children, and injured 400 more. Most were indigenous Aymara people who had some real skin in the game. Luis Posada Carriles is another which Venezuela requested be extradited for his alleged role in the bombing of a Cuban airliner which killed 73 people in 1976. Also of interest he worked with the CIA (They acknowledged this).

Now lets talk corruption and huge hypocrisy in Washington. Insider trading is one of the shitty things the rich have been known to do to get a whole bunch richer. They take non public information like up coming changes to laws and use that in the stock market. Back in 2010 the Wall Street Journal identified no less than 72 congress members and staff who did exactly that. All the while they were jailing bankers for doing the very same thing. These included House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. I know, Yep the very same ones responsible for the shutdown which cost thousands of federal workers their paychecks and veterans a cut to their benefits. Isn’t it wonderful how your elected officials work for and represent you?

Hey, public schools: it’s time for a separation of sex and state   Leave a comment

No wonder this guy is so popular….

The Matt Walsh Blog

untitled (4)

**Warning: some graphic language in this post.

I don’t think public schools should teach kids about abstinence. I don’t think they should teach kids about condoms. I don’t think they should teach kids about birth control pills, or virginity pledges, or sex before marriage, or sex after marriage. I don’t think they should teach kids about any of the things on this poster:

untitled (3)

Oral sex, sexual fantasy, touching each other’s genitals, anal sex, vaginal intercourse, grinding, masturbation — those all appeared on “teaching material” for a sex-ed class at Hocker Grove Middle School in Kansas. They claim this was actually part of an abstinence program, and that the photo is taken out of context.

Personally, I don’t need context. I don’t think public schools should be teaching kids, one way or another, in any context at all, for any reason whatsoever, about any of those things.

I don’t think anyone should be sending…

Social Media, A Personal Perspective .   Leave a comment

Was just sitting here going through the usual. Checking Facebook and Twitter to see what is going on and began to think what has become of our world in a few short years. After all when was the last time you physically spoke to a family member on a phone or wrote a letter? Have we become virtual slaves to new technology masters? I am old enough to remember the old dos computers and what life was like without the internet. What would happen if somehow a switch got flipped and poof our technologies were rendered useless? Wow there would be a “HOLY CRAP” moment..What would the sold called news outlets do without their technology to inform what is happening on the other side of the planet?

I think for myself it would almost be like a day off from work. I could spend more time outside with my own thoughts and ideas without the influences of hundreds of personalities online. Not that I am saying that is a bad thing but sometimes I think we need to just step away from the machine and focus on our own ideas and thoughts. Maybe even call a parent or sibling just to talk in person. Of course these social sites have become a necessary and intricate part of our world and all of our lives. I know a lot of peoples incomes depend on them directly or indirectly. I think there are some out there who would probably have some sort of breakdown if they had to spend more than a day without social networks. It would be like oh my God no mafia wars or any one of the many games played on them. Of course I myself am guilty of sitting and mindlessly playing some of them.

I think if anything I have come to the conclusion that we need to take timeout for the real world and all to real problems that we face in our real lives and society. It has almost gotten to the point I think where we have become dual citizens in our real as well as virtual worlds and worry that we have forgotten which is which. It has come to the point that more times then not the post or message I get on Facebook is nothing more then a game request for this app or that app of which the majority I do not even play. Then their are the endless hate posts about politics or religion coming from people who I would hope would never say such things to their children. I wonder if they actually believe what they say. Where they get their “Facts” from and are they even capable of separating myth and reality.

I guess my whole point here is we need to take some time for reflection on real life. Think some of your own thoughts and ideas and stop being sheep. Do not believe all that you read on the web (I would hope your smarter then that) and challenge others on their opinions and research your own before putting it out for the world to see. I see how freely people are giving their opinions which have nothing at all to do with facts. Anyone can spew out mindless gibberish and yes some will just eat it up but what is the point other than a little self gratification for a time until some figures it for what it truly is. Also I find those are the ones a majority of the time who get mad when you call them on it. I say just be honest with everyone and tell it like it is…

I would love to hear what your take on this is. Please leave a comment and lets see who is paying attention.

Our political system is broken.   Leave a comment

What has become completely apparent in recent years is that the current 2 party system in the U.S. is not working. On both sides the people we elected to represent us are doing anything but that which we elected them to do. Greed and corruption are rampant and they serve their lobbyist masters instead of their constituents. Of course you could point out the independents but they are either ineffective or just the same wolf in sheep’s clothing. It is really alarming that not long ago President Eisenhower warned us about the military industrial complex and its influence on our government. As I see it that is only part of the problem. I think most of the issue is we ourselves have let this happen through ignorance and or tolerance of the behavior of said officials. I have conversations with people who are so blinded by their party rhetoric and are being led like sheep to the slaughter. To myself it does not matter one bit what side you are on you are wrong and to a great extent are merely enjoying the fruits of what your political parties have sown. You have political leaders who have been involved in sex scandals and bribery and all matters of immoral acts against the citizens of this once great country. They are perpetrating acts against the citizens of this country contrary to or in spite of our bill of rights and constitution. They have put in place judges in the supreme as well as other federal and state courts who will facilitate the take over of our country as the large majority of the masses cheer them on.. Sound Familiar? It happened before in recent history in a country called Germany. They took the guns and then the press and next thing we knew they were loading up citizens on trains to the gas chambers.

So what is the solution one might ask? Not sure I have an answer but I do know Socialism and communism does not work.(Ask the Russians.) Our current system is not working so we as a people of this once great country should start having a dialogue about how to really fix it and make the hard choices to see it through. We need to get rid of this partisan political  garbage that has allowed us to fall so far into this pit. To those current elected officials all I can say is shame on you, Each and everyone of you has let your country down (Not to mention the veterans who fought and died in your name just so you can strip their benefits and allow some to be homeless.) and for what? I know what.. Power,Greed and self satisfaction. Also you the ones who did not directly contribute to our situation but sat quietly on the side, You are equally as guilty through your choice to remain silent. Then when a whistle blower does speak up he is silenced through any and all means necessary. But you should wake up and take a look around you. There is a rumbling stirring among the people and to the people I say vote all of them out and start over and begin the debate and fix the problem so that our children are not left with our mess. Stop thinking like a Democrat or Republican. Think like a citizen of this country and do what is morally right for the generations to come. I think it is also important that we put aside religious differences as apparently throughout history religious persecution does not solve anything for anyone. Maybe those “Flower Children” back in the 60’s had it at least partly right.. Live and let live.

How can we dare to act like the worlds police or “Global force for good” Love that one by the way…When we cannot take care of our own front yard…?
